What kind of clothes should you wear when visiting a temple?

Where should I hang my shoes (slippers)?

Yes, it is mandatory to remove footwear before entering the temple premises or prayer hall. There is a ‘stand’ near the entrance gate of the temple to keep the slippers safely.

Yes, we have a spacious parking lot for devotees’ vehicles. We do not charge for parking.

Photography and video recording is generally permitted outside the temple, provided that it does not detract from the dignity of the site.

Is there a daily free food and drink arrangement in the temple?

How to donate to a temple?

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?

Donations from devotees are gratefully accepted.
Cash or gold, silver, etc. can be deposited directly in the hundi installed in the temple.

Can I use a mobile phone inside a temple?

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಒಳಗೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಬಳಸಬಹುದೇ?

Devotees entering the temple are advised to keep their mobile phones switched off/on silent mode. Talking on the phone/messaging etc. inside the temple is strictly prohibited.

Small bags like purses/handbags can be carried inside the temple.
